Grace

Today i taught my second night of English classes and it was so much fun!  I am so thankful to the Lord for this opportunity to teach.  I love the Latino people and their sense of humor! 

Soo...to let you know what is going on....Perhaps you are wondering why I am not in Peru yet.  Well let me tell you...

  Okay so i was planning on leaving in March after this semester at the college.  In case you don't know i also teach at the Bullhead City Jr. High as a substitute. Well a lady at the district office asked me if I would be interested in teaching a drug prevention class to all seven schools in our district as the students haven't had any drug prevention classes all year long.  I prayed about it and really felt like the Lord was giving me an opportunity through this to be able to minister to these childrens lives and impact them.  Also it will be a great tool for me to use on the mission field. 

   So that moved my date to go to Peru back to May 19th. Well the people at the Bible College in Peru where i am going are going on a mission trip to Israel for 2 weeks from May 24-June 9th and so i will be leaving the USA and meeting them in Jerusalem!  I am so so excited to return to Israel and be a part of this team as it isn't just a sightseeing tour it is a mission trip!  Also we are going to be able to go to Jordan and Petra. 

  Also as God would have it my very dear friend Anya is getting married June 20th and Pastor Bonner has said that it is alright with him if i stay for the wedding.  I am so thankful.  

  When i get to Peru i will start teaching english classes to the nationals which will help them to get better jobs and be able to provide for their families.  Please pray with me that the Lord will use me not only in Lima, but also in Iquitos, Cusco and wherever else he may lead.
