Grace

  I am sure it is at these times that God just looks down and smiles knowing that His ways are so much better than mine, or ours…why is it so hard to trust the maker of the universe who holds the very galaxies in his hands?

  I was planning on going to Peru in September 2006 and everything was set to go I was just days away from buying my plane ticket when I was told that I wasn’t going.  I was confused, distraught and a little depressed.  Didn’t God know that I had it all figured out that everything was going to be great.  Couldn’t He look into the future and see how much more effective I was going to be in Peru as opposed to Bullhead City, Arizona? 

 Apparently He saw it was better that I stay here in BHC for a little while longer…and even though His plan is hard to understand sometimes, I know that this time has helped me and shown me that I need to have more dependence on Him, and less on myself.

  Lord willing I will be leaving for Peru in March and serving the Lord there for a year or so…Please join with me in prayer that through these next couple of months the Lord will prepare me and mold me into the vessel that He can use. 

 Perhaps you are in a place of uncertainty even right now as you are reading this…be encouraged that God has a certain plan for your life…follow the Father he knows where He is going!
