Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah
I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, not Happy Holidays, but Merry Christmas *smiles* I would also like to apologize for not updating my blog more regulary.
So would you like to know what Christmas is like in the Holy Land? Hmm..well there wasn't a Christmas...it doesn't exist except in my heart this year, as in Jerusalem there is no Jesus and therefore no reason to celebrate his birth.
Praise the Lord though as I was able to go to Bethleham on Christmas Eve and spend this holiday with my Christian Palestianian friends, it was wonderful. Although it was pouring rain, we went to Bethleham Square, and visited the church of the Nativity. There weren't that many people there, but it was amazing to actually be in the place where it is supposed that Jesus was born.
I so wish that I could have been there that night, and seen my saviors shining face, and hold the little hands that would only 33 years later be pierced for my sins, and this perfect lamb would be given as a sacrifice for me.
It has been raining for two days straight, as i am huddled in my room next to the heater I wonder, do these raindrops represent God's tears as he cries over this land and these people that continue to reject His son as their Messiah...Ohh...Lord please open their eyes.
May the Lord bless you and keep you today, thank you so much for your prayers. I love you all so very much!
I will try to do better at keeping this updated more regularly.

I believe the rain drops represents tears. I know our Lord must be hurting over what has been done to His people, His land.
I so want to visit Israel. I long to walk the same streets my Saviour walked.
God bless you!
